Job Title: Office Clerk

Location: Blytheville, Arkansas

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $20.00- $25.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, taking messages as needed.
• Greet and announce visitors to senior leadership.
• Accurately log daily and weekly records, including packing lists, invoices, incoming material receipts, outbound customer shipments, production metrics, and product sample data.
• Follow established data entry procedures, including initialing and dating tickets, invoices, and audit reports.
• Operate the truck scale, check trucks in and out, record weights, and provide drivers with the correct paperwork.
• Collect required documentation from drivers according to billing details.
• Process customer orders per procedure: complete and sign order release forms, schedule freight, and add orders to the outbound shipping schedule.
• Send original paperwork to the freight broker and coordinate with in-house drivers.
• Support communication with vendors on supply and repair needs, following up until resolved.
• Perform general bookkeeping, including reconciling accounts payable and posting entries to internal systems.
• Safeguard confidential information and comply with internal controls.
• Take photos on request from management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Solid working math skills: unit conversions, reading measurements, practical problem solving, estimating, and checking results for accuracy.
• Bookkeeping background preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage competing priorities.
