The Opportunity

This role is responsible for Commercial Card Product Management and end-to-end delivery across North America with accountability for outcomes across the Commercial Cards portfolio and strategic partnerships. You’ll set clear product direction by defining, maintaining, and prioritizing the roadmap including scope, sequencing, and dependencies. Working hands-on with cross-functional teams across servicing, implementation, operations, risk, and commercial stakeholders you’ll translate management intent into measurable delivery. The focus is on aligning priorities to customer requirements and business objectives then implementing solutions effectively to generate quantifiable value. Success means a roadmap that stays aligned to client needs, governance that stands up to scrutiny and delivery that improves outcomes across the portfolio. This role is based in New York City NY, Buffalo NY, or Chicago Illinois with an expectation to work from office 3 days per week as part of HSBC’s hybrid working approach.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver the product vision, strategy and multi-quarter roadmap aligned to business objectives and measurable customer outcomes
• Define and prioritize roadmap scope, sequencing, and dependencies to keep delivery focused and transparent
• Translate customer use cases into clear product requirements that teams can deliver end-to-end
• Manage Embedded Finance partnerships and product set-up to strengthen HSBC’s presence in Procure-to-Pay platforms
• Partner with servicing, implementation, and operations to implement solutions effectively and realize quantifiable value
• Govern end-to-end product processes including approvals, product reviews, incident management, and audit action closure
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, FCC, Fraud and Finance to meet control, regulatory and operational requirements
• Collaborate across global and local teams, lines of business and product groups to deliver joined-up outcomes

What we're looking for

• Bring extensive Commercial Card product management experience including translating use cases into product requirements
• Demonstrate understanding of Commercial Card P&L drivers and how product decisions shape performance
• Apply strong knowledge of the commercial card competitive landscape and the direction of the card industry
• Partner effectively with Legal, Compliance, Risk, FCC, Fraud and Finance to navigate governance and banking policies
• Deliver products within control, regulatory, operational requirements, risk appetite, and financial mapping expectations
• Operate successfully in a matrix environment across global and local teams and across product groups
• Show a track record of cross-functional delivery with teams such as servicing, implementation, operations, and commercial stakeholders
