1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday (plus overtime as needed)
Starting Pay: $22.52/hour
As a Core Maker, you'll produce high-quality sand cores that are essential to the manufacturing of grey and ductile iron castings used in industries such as mining, marine, HVAC, and oil & gas.
Responsibilities include:
Operating core-making equipment
Loading and unloading core boxes
Inspecting cores for quality and accuracy
Trimming, repairing, and assembling cores when needed
Applying core coatings and preparing finished cores for production
Monitoring sand and binder systems
Performing basic equipment cleaning and maintenance
Following all safety and quality standards
Excitement to learn a new skill
Mechanically inclined
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow work instructions
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Team-oriented and self-motivated
Commitment to safety and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
