Job Description

Salary: $124,000 - 164,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking 7 to 10+ years of experience working with data networks, with a strong emphasis on routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, as well as switching technologies like Spanning Tree and VSS.
• We prefer candidates with hands-on experience using SolarWinds Engineers ToolSet, SecureCRT, and ServiceNow.
• We are looking for practical experience with Panorama and Palo Alto firewalls, including logical partitioning and firewall rule configuration.
• We require familiarity with Cisco platforms, along with administration, maintenance, and installation experience.
• We expect a basic understanding of firewall rule setup.
• We value the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and managers in a service-provider environment.
• We want a strong team player who can also mentor others.
• We prefer candidates who are able to obtain or already hold a Public Trust clearance.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred.
• Experience with Infoblox management, including DNS, DHCP, and grid configuration, is highly desirable.
• Experience with Zscaler solutions such as ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX is highly desirable.
• We ask that candidates be U.S. citizens and hold an active Public Trust or Secret clearance.
• We prefer candidates with at least 7 years of experience configuring network equipment.

• We provide Tier 3 support for internal teams and a Federal agency across data network and security environments.
• We implement best-practice network and security solutions and services.
• We manage, troubleshoot, and monitor data solutions using routing and switching technologies.
• We configure Palo Alto firewall policies, including application identification and threat prevention settings.
• We maintain and administer data networks and systems built on Cisco product lines.
• We monitor network performance with SolarWinds and take corrective action to keep performance optimized.
• We resolve data network issues and escalate complex matters to network architecture when needed.
• We implement and troubleshoot enterprise network incidents, outages, and related solution issues.
• We respond to escalated incidents and service requests from delivery and operations teams.
